Since 1911, the Dorchester Board of Trade has been uniting and strengthening the community's businesses, as well as giving them a voice in the community. The Board is committed to the belief that strength among businesses, along with civic attentiveness, profits the entire community. It’s fairly axiomatic… We are experiencing a very steady influx of new business members, reconnecting with former members and observing an increase in the business industry diversity of our membership. Our committees, made up of business members, have been conscientiously laboring to increase member benefit opportunities and resources for 2010. At our March 24th meeting we presented attendees with our renewed vision and introduced the business members who have accepted the charge to serve their fellow Dorchester business partners as DBOT Board of Directors. Also, we received invaluable survey input from members that is being integrated into our 2010 event and activity planning.
